TUFRR V2 was developed in response to the astronomical increase in the price of tungsten. The original TUFRR relied on tungsten weights, making it increasingly difficult to keep in stock while maintaining a reasonable price. TUFRR V2 solves that problem with a completely new weight system while maintaining the adjustability that made the original TUFRR so effective.

Instead of a fixed tungsten weight, TUFRR V2 uses a plate-based adjustable weight system. Plates can easily be added or removed to adjust the overall weight to fit your specific TX22, ammunition, and suppressor combination. Multiple weight plate options are also available, allowing you to fine-tune the system even further.

One of the biggest advantages of the V2 design is that it can be shorter when you don't need all of the available weight. Simply remove the plates you don't need, reducing how far the TUFRR extends from the back of the slide while still giving you the ability to add weight when needed.

Just like the original TUFRR, V2 allows you to tune your TX22 to run smoother and more reliably, both suppressed and unsuppressed. Every TUFRR V2 includes the plates needed to adjust the system, so you can tune your TX22 without having to purchase a completely different weight. Simply remove a couple of screws, adjust the number of plates being used, and you're ready to go.

In testing, we found that this level of adjustability is important because every TX22 setup can behave differently. Gun to gun, ammunition to ammunition, and suppressor to suppressor, the amount of weight needed can change. In one test, the same TX22 shooting the same ammunition required 1/3 oz. more weight with one suppressor than another. That is exactly why we believe an adjustable system is superior to a one-size-fits-all weight.

TUFRR V2 was designed with the consumer in mind: buy this complete kit once, and you have the ability to tune as your setup changes. Whether you are running suppressed or unsuppressed, using a forced reset component, or a stock configuration, TUFRR V2 gives you the ability to find the weight that works best for your particular application. The adjustable weight being added to the back of your slide keeps it out of the way of any optic or iron sights that you may be using. 

This is an adjustable weight that attaches to the back of the slide. This is not a "switch" of any kind.

Installation is extremely easy. Just pop off your factory backplate on your slide, and then replace it with the TUFRR V2 base. Just don't launch any springs into orbit when removing the factory backplate.
